We know how important the support systems like copy centers and book stores are to the university ecology. So we did what we thought was right, we talked to people in the industry and found out what would make sense as a digital distribution model for course packs. The end result of this conversation and Research is our course pack builder and Point of sale Desktop application. The most important feature of the entire system is that it reduces the time it takes to produce and sell a coursepack, rather than remove the job.

Our philosophy is that we want to empower schools to have more courses use course packs, with this increased volume it is key to have digital place based distribution that cuts down on costs, administrative and overhead, while increasing the volume and keeping the core staff positions in place.

For example with our course pack builder a course pack can be scanned, object character recognized, assembled and ready for sale on USB drives on a per student basis in a fraction of the time it takes to produce a set amount of paper course packs. We free up resources so more clerks can sell during busy times, or for copy right clearance and client service such as desk copies and updates.
